What is Health Fund Compliance?

Registration with the Private Health Funds is an important part of the service we provide to our clients. To remain registered  with the health funds and continue providing this service we must remain compliant.

Some of the conditions of our registration with the health funds include

  • Keeping detailed records for all clients and their treatments.
  • Rebates can only be claimed in the name of the person receiving the treatment on the day they receive the treatment.
  • Rebates cannot be back dated.
  • Rebates cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers

Claiming your Health Fund Rebate

We are registered with most private health funds and are able to process health fund rebates electronically for participating health funds or provide you with a receipt so you can claim it back through your health fund. You will need to bring your health fund card with you to your appointment to process your rebate electronically.

Not all private health funds rebate for massage and many of the funds only rebate for remedial massage. We cannot tell you how much your rebate will be, as this is depends on  the individual  health fund and the level of cover you have with your health fund. If you want to find out this information prior to booking an appointment please contact your health fund.

There may be times when for reasons beyond our control, we are unable to process your health fund rebate electronically. In these instances you will need to pay the full amount for your treatment and we will provide you with a receipt so you can claim the rebate directly through your health fund.
