Welcome to our Clinic
Your First Visit
All clients are required to fill out a client information and consent forms prior to commencement of your first treatment. We ask that you arrive 5 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork.
A detailed medical history will be taken prior to any hands on work commencing. In some circumstances massage and other soft tissue therapies may be contra-indicated, in others it may alter how we approach your treatment. It is for your benefit and ours to let us know if you have any current or pre-existing medical conditions/injuries or are currently under the care of a medical practitioner or health care provider.
Please allow 90 minutes for your initial consultation.
Follow up Visits
In most cases follow up treatments when necessary will only require a standard consultation (45 – 60 minutes). If an extended consultation (90 minutes) is required this will be discussed at the time of making your next appointment or prior to commencing treatment.
What to wear
Some assessments and treatments are conducted fully clothed, for this reason it is best to wear loose comfortable clothing. Jeans, tight and heavy clothing are uncomfortable to wear during treatments and are also difficult to work through for the therapist.
Privacy
All client information gathered by us is private and confidential. We do not share any client information with third parties unless required to do so by law. In some circumstances it may be necessary for us to consult with your doctor/health care provider regarding treatment. In these situations you will always be consulted and your consent obtained prior
to any consultation taking place.
Payment
We accept payment by cash, eftpos or credit card (Visa/mastercard). We don’t accept Diners Club, AMEX or personal cheques. See our pricing page for current rates
Health fund rebates can be processed electronically via our Healthpoint terminal or a receipt can be provided for those funds not able to be processed electronically. See our Health Fund page for more detailed information relating to health fund rebates.
Cancellations
If you are unable to keep your appointment 24 hours notice is appreciated, this will allow us to allocate your appointment time to someone else.
Parking
There is ample parking on the street directly in front of the clinic.
